Early 1900's photo of Henry Ahrens's sail loft in South Street, New York City. Picture shows a line of the huge7th series Singers on the left and smaller Singers on the right after they were converted to run on electric motors. Before electricity, D/C generators powered these great machines. One of these 7th series Singers is still being used today at our present location in Freeport.
