39' MainShip express
|
The 39' MainShip Express has very dynamic lines. This one in particular presented a few interesting challenges for us. The main problem is that it originally had only 5 1/2 feet of headroom at the helm while the owner was 6 feet tall. We were able to reuse the old stainless steel frame by reshaping the top. Now the owner can comfortably stand at the helm. We matched as many lines and angles as we could. But color is also important. In this case, the Aquamarine Sunbrella(R) fabric worked perfectly to 'tie-in' the canvas. Optical clear vinyl windows were also used. The side windows open easily by unzipping the dual-tab sliders. The zipper runs along the frame to protect the clear vinyl windows. This option is by special request only. Inside the top, notice the zippers along the pockets for the frame. This permits the easy removal of the top.
