KEEPING ALIVE A TRADITION THAT WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1834

Above we have a brand new 180 WellCraft center console boat equipped with a factory T-top.  This boat line as well as many other fine boats like it are available from Dave Bofill Marine.  The picture shows how we added a clear front connector made out of heavy optical clear vinyl 'glass'.  What's not visible is the U-shaped zipper opening we cleverly installed behind the sway bars of the top. 

There were two reasons for sewing the zipper behind the sway bars.  The first is design reasons.  there was no reason to introduce any new angles to this boat.  Second, the optical glass would become damaged after time from rubbing against the aluminum sway bars.  The zipper adds protection from this.

With the added side curtains, this fisherman can extend his season well into December.  Notice that there's no back drop curtain.  The owner felt that he didn't need it at this time.  Frankly, a drop curtain could always be added at a later date with no problem.
